The Applied Hydroclimatology Group (http://sites.dartmouth.edu/jwinter/) in the Department of Geography at Dartmouth College is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to explore the impacts of climate variability and climate change on irrigated crop production through the modeling of water-limited agricultural systems. A background in agronomy and/or crop modeling is required, and experience with Linux/Unix, Fortran, and the Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer Model is preferred. Research will be conducted in collaboration with Dr. Joshua Elliott at the University of Chicago and Dr. Alex Ruane at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, and will engage more broadly with the Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project (AgMIP; www.agmip.org<http://www.agmip.org>).

The initial appointment will be for one year, with the expectation of renewal pending satisfactory performance. To apply upload a two-page cover letter describing previous research experience and qualifications for the position, curriculum vitae including names and contact information for three references, and up to three publication reprints to http://apply.interfolio.com/28564. Review of Applications will begin March 1st, 2015 and continue until position is filled.
