[AgMIP] A global dataset of historical yields

Dear AgMIP members,

I am happy to inform that our team's global, gridded, time-series
dataset of historical yields from 1982-2006 is now published in Global
Ecology and Biogeography (see Discussion section of attached paper for
the data download).

This dataset is developed by aligning satellite-derived crop-specific
net primay production and FAO country-level yield statistics. Although
there are a certain limitations, this dataset offers good oppotunities
for global crop modeling and spatial aggregation in particular.
