Dear Colleagues,

We encourage you to submit an abstract to Session GC50 of the 2011 AGU Fall
Meeting, entitled: *Improving the Simulation of Climate-Agriculture
Interactions: AgMIP and Related Research*. A description of the session is
included below.

*Session Description*: Agricultural models have the ability to simulate the
effects of climate change on crop yields, making them important tools for
examining future food security. This session will focus on results from the
Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project (AgMIP) and
research that develops the interface between climate and agricultural models
for impacts assessments. Topics of particular interest include: the
creation of climate scenarios using dynamical and statistical models, the
aggregation of point-based agricultural models for economic analysis, the
evaluation of cascading model and scenario uncertainties, and novel methods
of utilizing agricultural models to inform adaptation strategies.

The 2011 AGU Fall Meeting is December 5-9, 2011 at the Moscone Convention
Center in San Francisco.
